Yeah, so any artist worth their salt can paint an image of anything. Sometimes that's the problem with me. I cannot decide what to paint. This week I threw it out there to social media world and asked what I should paint. "Charlie" was what struck me. So out came this portrait of him in this time lapse video. Although he's upstairs in the house, I used a photo as reference because it was a cute picture. Like most good photos, there were some things that needed to change.
Whip cream around his mouth and his harness were omitted in the painting. Once again, you'll see me using what I call; Pop-Impressionist style to make the art. I imagine my mom or my sister will want this portrait. Since I just did it for fun, they can fight over it to see who gets it - no money need be exchanged.
